Really nice after the renovation. Very harmoniously furnished, you feel good. What is still not possible, however, is the operation. The black-haired lady in a black outfit should be emphasized in the negative. This tried to settle the drinks that were still open due to their own mistakes through our tables. And not in a nice way, but snippy and extremely unfriendly. You are well advised to note down your own drinks here. The waitresses seem overwhelmed. Unfortunately, you often wait an unusually long time for your ordered beer here: 20 minutes were not uncommon. At first when the restaurant was full, understandable. However, later, when this was no longer the case, that did not change. The waitresses also passed the table with blinkers, as if they didn't want to take new orders. It was also unusual that there was no soap in the toilets. Even after pointing it out several times, nothing changed during the entire evening. This impression is really a shame, especially since the inn sees itself as the first address in town. Taken together, these comments may sound a bit drastic. However, the end of the evening was so formative that we mostly got this impression. Even though most of the evening was really pleasant.

At the Gasthof zur Post I was allowed to play my dinner show "Zwei Spoon Love" during a Christmas party and yesterday to accompany the celebration of a wedding with music. What strikes me as extremely positive is that as a service provider I was received in a very friendly manner and "briefed". I felt welcome. The kitchen is just fantastic! Part of the inn has been newly renovated. The new "paint job" is a success. It's worth a visit!

As we learned during our visit today, it is actually expected that if you do not want to eat, you should state this when making your reservation. After it became clear that we only wanted to have a drink, the waitress was cool and brief. It doesn't have to be that way.

Went here for lunch this afternoon with my family. Every dish was very good and very nicely presented. The portions were very large, so also for the big appetite. The service was very attentive and nice. I would eat here again anytime.

Nice rooms, some with balconies. The food in the inn was great and the staff very good, because always attentive if anything was missing. At breakfast nothing was missing. If there was anything to complain about, it was that the lighting in my room, let's call it, was cozy (a little dark). Nevertheless, full 5 stars. Highly Recommended!!

Very good food. Served fast and hot. Nice audience with the one sitting at the cozy bar (after the meal leicht) easily into conversation, so that the stay in the inn in sociable rounds can end.

We went there for an evening meal. On our arrival we were met and greeted and shown to a seat of our choice. The service was excellent. All the staff made us welcome. It is well used by the locals . Our food was with us in about 15 Minutes. Be advised their meals ar not small . We enjoyed our meals the food was tasty, fresh and well presented This is a restaurant a pub and a Hotel rolled into one. The menu was also under written in English. There is ample room for seating as well as good parking. This is well worth a 5 star.

Family-run hotel with very dedicated and friendly staff. Clean and modern equipped rooms. Very good food with a large selection. There is always something going on at the bar, especially when Dortmund plays (Sky). Very extensive breakfast buffet. Always happy here. Only the room service had reason to complain: On 2 days was not the trash can emptied, no more water and the front door not completed!
